Purpose:
The main objective of this job is to manage service delivery and administration of the Support Section within the Information and Technology Services Division. This is to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service to the University’s IT end users offering the most efficient solutions in the least amount of time.

Requirements:A relevant degree / national higher diploma (3-years of study) in preferably either Computer Science or Management, plus at least 6 years relevant experience OR Matric plus 9 years experience where such experience includes: -
- Previous experience working in a service-related environment where the key focus has been on the planning and organisation of service delivery within an IT environment.
- Previous administrative experience.
At least 1 years supervisor experience OR the RU Supervision Certificate and practice with mentoring of Tech I and Tech II experience

Pension total annual cash: R 298 804
Total annual package: Approximately R 398 907
Provident fund (non-contributory) total annual cash: R 281 682
