Our client has a need for a PMP certified Project Manager. You must have a solid knowledge of the entire SDLC with preference given to candidates who have come from a software development backgroundPurpose of Role:
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Management of the project through the entire project life cycle from initial client liaison through to project planning, scheduling and delivery within allocated budgets
• On completion of project handover to operations team
• Solid project resource management
• Project documentation

Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant 3 year degree or diploma
• Project management certification (PMP or similar)
• Minimum of 10 years experience within the IT industry with a focus on project management
• Ability to manage 8 – 10 projects simultaneously
• Must have managed software development projects with a solid knowledge of the SDLC
• Manage contract resources

Skills Required:
• Ability to ensure projects are delivered timeously and within budget
• Solid leadership skills
