Responsibilities:
Provide first-class recruiting support for the AmazonDevelopment Centre in Cape Town.
Operate as the expert in industry best practices for allfunctional areas of recruitment. Monitor new trends and opportunities to consistently raise thestandard for recruitment at Amazon.
Provide internal resourcing service to hiring managers,including the provision of advice on all recruitment issues.
Manage the recruitment processfrom initial candidate contact to offer ensuring an outstanding candidate experience. Analyze andimplement process improvements.
Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies and plansto build pipelines for top candidates across all areas of the organization
Manage relationshipswith recruitment preferred suppliers and other external organisations.
Implement and enforceconsistency with our recruiting policies and procedures.
Represent the company at recruitingevents such as job fairs and other community events.
Ensure the high quality of our recruitingprocess is consistent by conducting top interview skills training for managers.
Ensure 100 %data accuracy of our recruitment database. Track and analyze statistical recruiting data todetermine effectiveness of all recruiting activities, including time to hire and cost per hire.
Conduct and track reference checks.
Develop and deliver on Global recruitment projects.
Communicate effectively and partner with HR and Training teams, ensuring any combined objectives areachieved.
Work to develop the employer brand through advertising, promotion, and communityinvolvement with any recruitment focused local events.

Degree in HR or relateddiscipline, or equivalent work experience
Several years experience as an in-house, customerfacing, full cycle technical recruiter or sourcer (recruiting software engineers, systems engineers,network engineers, etc.)
Skilled at partnering with hiring managers in diverse locations tobuild effective sourcing strategies and relationships
Demonstrated customer service focus whichprovides for an excellent candidate experience
Ability to move candidates through the processin a timely manner meeting time to hire goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsand effective influencing skills
Highly adaptable and flexible as a part of a fast pacedenvironment and the diverse company hiring needs
Excellent negotiation skills and professionalpresence
Able to work efficiently and accurately when under pressure to meet tightdeadlines
Experience working with job-boards, CV databases and internet search tools
Fluency in English is required


Recruiting/Sourcing for global organisation(s)
Recruiting/Sourcing in the engineering/technical/software industry
Knowledge of South Africanlabour law
Experience mentoring/managing a small team
