Role details:
To oversee and co-ordinate the build, maintenance, monitoring and delivery of cyber security services and solutions to outsourced customers, to ensure contractual obligations and SLA’s are consistently met, and that customers are protected against cybercrime.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:• Represent BCX Secure Cyber Security services to the BCX account team and outsourced customers.
• Present customer with monthly reports, assuring customers of how SLA’s were met, and to provide customer with an overview of the security landscape.
• Communicate with BCX account team and customers on the risks and mitigating controls related to the business and operational systems environment
• Ensure appropriate technical controls, e.g. user access and authentication controls are in place.
• Ensure appropriate non-technical controls, e.g. that the documented security policies, standards and procedures are created, reviewed, updated and maintained periodically by appropriate individuals
• Ensure that all business unit security coordinators understand and execute their security responsibilities in accordance with related policies, standards and procedures
• Organise and conduct periodic Information Security Function / Team meetings
• Research information security advisories, publications, vendor correspondence on application patches, updates and version releases and media for recent exposures and their fixes in operating systems, databases, applications, and networks
• Address all day-to-day Operational Information Security Requirements as stipulated in the relevant Service Level Agreement (SLA) with clients
• Consult with customers and BCX Account team on global trends, developments, and latest threats in the sphere of information and cyber security
• Assist with the development and implementation of new security initiative.
• Consult and assist in proposals for new security services in response to customer requests, RFI and RFP.
EXPERIENCE:
5 Years’ experience with degree or diploma
7 years’ experience with a Grade 12
5 to 7 years’ experience in cyber security solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12. 3 Year degree/ diploma (NQF 6) in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
