They are looking for an Intermediate BI/SQL Developer to join their BI team and enhance the BI system that informs business decisions. The role involves managing, supporting and enhancing existing reports that business requires and working towards covering wider reporting requirements. You will be responsible for designing and building end-to-end BI solutions that will extract data from multiple systems, transforming and loading into multiple reporting data warehouses. This includes supporting the existing BI Platform, reverse engineering and improving processes. You will work with end users and analysts on requirements and translate them into technical specification, while driving and implementing industry best practises. The successful incumbent should be able to evaluate and introduce new tools, design and improve existing ETL framework, and data validation framework. To be considered you will need a relevant degree and at least 3 years Business Intelligence and ETL Development experience using Microsoft BI Stack. You should be well versed in MS SQL Server, SQL, T-SQL (including Stored Procedures/ Functions, etc.), SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS (Tabular) and knowledgeable of ETL methodologies and technology. You should also have strong report development experience in Power BI. DAX experience is highly desired. Experience designing solutions following Kimball methodology and good knowledge of data modelling concepts. Experience using Visio (2013) is an advantage.
