Minimum Qualifications
The Installation Technician must satisfy the following minimum qualifications:
• Grade 12
• Computer (literacy essential)
• Point of sale experience and other IT Qualifications will be advantageous.
• General understanding of computer hardware.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:
• Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about Hardware and Software.
• Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analysing the root cause of the problem.
• Teach clients how the software works
• Stay with the client from open to close.
• Follow standard processes and procedures;
• Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
• Ensure that the client is trained to spec before leaving the store after 3days
• Escalate challenges experienced to the team leader as soon as it happens.
• Report back regularly to team leader as required
• Stay up to date with software/hardware changes/enhancements.

Conditions:
As an Installation technician, working times will vary as you will be working late hours as well as weekends, the company runs 24 hours and 365 days a year, and according to hours of trade of our clients.
