A top global freight forwarder is looking to reinforce their sales team by bringing in a business development manager expert who is focused on the chemical sector based in their Durban office.In this role you will market services, build relationships and target specific business within the chemical sector. You will be responsible for sustaining the company’s growth by establishing new relationships, presenting at senior level, conduct tenders/bids/RFQ’s/RFE’s and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to ensure that clients business needs are met. You will also look after two sales representatives and mentor them to become BDM’s in the future.
If you come from a medium to large sized forwarder, and be able to demonstrate your ability to meet targets, and provide information on your key wins and achievements in current or past roles then this is an excellent opportunity to join a very well respected forwarder in which you will be given every opportunity to progress within the organisation.
Qualification:
Matric
Degree: BCom. or post graduate qualification


Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience within the 3/4PL and Freight Forwarding Industry
