STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION OVERVIEW
Our Strategic Relationship Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers.
They would be assigned to a maximum of 20 Key Customers. The Strategic Relationship Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and assigned strategic account objectives. They are also responsible for generating opportunities within their assigned customers.
The Strategic Relationship Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met.
The Strategic Relationship Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. These relationships would range from travel bookers to MD.
Drives growth opportunities within each account.
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period. Implementing Service Level Agreements with all Key customers
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an on-going basis.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Achieves assigned budgets in designated strategic accounts.
Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by companymanagement.
Completes strategic customer account plans that meet companystandards.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
QUALIFICATIONS / CHARACTERISTICS
Minimum threeyears of strategic sales experience in a corporate sales environment
PC proficiency
Well-developed communication, customer service and relationship management skills
Well organised and ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple account requirements at any given time
Responsible individual with passion to succeed.
Time management is vital for their success.
