Core Description Responsible for managing the Supply Chain Control Tower Division with Business case development/ Business Modelling and/or Commercial analytics. Provide strategic support in respect of business case management/ business modelling and analysis on third party Suppliers, relevant value-chains, Contract performance and Materials management and or all functions within Commercial and Contract Management in Openserve. Formulate tactical and strategic decisions/actions for the Commercial and Contract management domain. Effective management of end-to-end involvement of all actions related to continuous improvement of the value chains as well as in all Business Case and Funding Requests from inception to completion to ensure a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities Supplier Analytics:
- Perform overall Risk and Response analysis for division
- Perform simulations (What if Analysis) on HL Budgets
- Makes recommendations from analysis to inform strategic and tactical commercial decisions

Key Performance Areas/ KPIs:
- Manage sectional KPIs/ KPAs
- Perform Stakeholder Management to meet KPI
- Provide input into KPIs/ KPAs with relevant stakeholders (internal/ externally)
- Overall oversight of Management of dashboards

Business cases/Business models:
- Manage the compilation and approval of divisional business cases
- Determine the metrics and information to design business cases/ business models
- Develop Total Cost of Ownership models and what-if scenarios

Management of Analytics Department
- Review and change analytics function operating model to suite business needs
- Manage analysts in the department who on a continuous basis identify operational issues
- Manage analysts who drive business improvements within the business
- Ensure improvements / solutions to specific problems are documented for future use and reference.
- Track the value delivered through the analytics department

Manages people performance and development:
- Manages the performance, development and implementation of team learning and growth plans, and provides coaching and mentoring to ensure ongoing learning and capability development within the team
- Ensures team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with operations and personal development needs
Required Certification/Professional Registration None.
Qualifications Engineering or IT or Supply Chain Business/ Commerce degree (NQF level 7). Advantageous honors in Business Management/ Administration

OR

Post graduate qualification in Business.
Experience 7 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years in a management role. At least 2 year managing a team or cross-functional team. Experience with analytics tools.



Advantageous Experience/ Knowledge in Business Intelligence Software. Continuous improvement and business case management experience. Track record of delivery
Special Requirements Valid driver's license.
Be prepared to work outside of normal working hours. Willing to travel and stay out overnight.
