A well known Environmental company is looking for a Factory/Production Manager to join their exciting company.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials conforming to the Company’s quality specifications is sourced, processed, packed, distributed and available in adequate quantities where and when requiredMinimum Requirements:
Matric with a diploma or similar qualification in Production & Inventory Control management
A minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience in a small to medium manufacturing environment (Experience within a chemical environment will be an added advantage)
Ability to lead a multi-discipline team
Computer literacy (Word & Excel) essential
AVCASA certification is a requirement in this position and the successful candidate will be expected to successfully complete all the requirements of this course

Duties:
Sourcing of raw materials, actives and packaging materials
Production planning and compiling of production schedules
Supervising factory personnel and overseeing processing and packing operations in the factory
Ensuring that products comply with quality standards and legislative requirements
Ensuring machines are correctly calibrated for production runs
Monitoring equipment maintenance and ensuring preventative maintenance is performed
Compliance with EHS and OHS requirements
Inventory control and management
Ensuring that associated administrative duties are performed
