Our external client is looking for a Senior Specialist System/Business Analyst and TeamLeader to ensure that the IT support is in place and available to meet the needs of the business andassume responsibility

Rolesand Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the systems/business analyst team lead willinclude the following:
1) Take responsibility for a set of applications that support businessprocesses of specific line functions;
2) Continuously assess the relevance and value-add ofthe respective system(s) and recommend new solutions where necessary;
3) Provide user supportand respond to user calls or issues logged with the Helpdesk;
4) Investigate, fix, test andmigrate system bugs’ fixes through the different environments;
5) Manage the migrationof the system enhancements through the different environments that are used as part of the testplan; and
6) Liaising extensively with clients (external or internal);
7) Analysingexisting systems and business models;
8) Mapping and documenting interfaces between legacyand new systems;
9) Understanding software development lifecycle;
10) Translatingclient requirements into highly specified project briefs;
11) Identifying options forpotential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
12)Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacementsystems;
13) Developing solutions and related products;

14) Producing project feasibility and costingsreports;
15) Presenting proposals to clients;
16) Working closely with colleagues,developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and usersatisfaction;
17) Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met;
18)Drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedules for complete systems;
19)Overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration;
20) Planning and workingflexibly to deadlines;
21) Supporting users on change control and system updates;
22)Providing training and user manuals to users of a new system;
23) Keeping up to date withtechnical and industry developments.
2.4 Skills Requirements
It is crucial that theproposed candidate should have at least 60 months experience and demonstrate the followingskills:
1) Ability to conduct user requirements gathering sessions with different linefunction managers and translate the requirements into functional specifications;
2) Havefamiliarity with functional design documents and how they translate to system functionality;
3) Have qualification and experience in application development frameworks and methodologies
4) Have good documentation skills and ability to complete the following documentation: functionaldesign, detailed design, database design, technical architecture design, test scripts and testingprocedures and user training manuals;
5) Have experience in drawing business processes usingtools such as Microsoft Visio;
6) Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsofttechnologies used for application development in the IEC environment (see table below);
7)Have a high level of proficiency in writing Microsoft SQL queries, including sub queries andcursors;

8)Demonstrate experience and familiarity with configuration management tools, design tools, debuggingtools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement anapplication;
9) Be able to engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer;
10) Beable to lead a team and manage project delivery;
11) Have application development/programmingexperience on a Microsoft platform and using same tools as indicated below.
12) Have abilityto communicate clearly – verbally and in written form;
13) Have ability and showwillingness to engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer;
14) Have ability to workeffectively as part of a team in support of the team’s goals;
15) Demonstrateexperience in troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues; and
16) Have deep skillsand experience in designing and implementing IT solutions.
