Role Description

Skills and Experience
Preferably an Engineering or BSC Information Technology Degree Additional Systems Analysis & Project management qualifications Business requirement scoping & documentation Systems Analysis and modeling Presentations to convey & confirm client requirements and start change management processes Lead team meetings with the company team to confirm requirements, alternatives, scope & deliverydates Project/Service Delivery Planning and Control Progress monitoring and communication to all stakeholders Account & contract management Takes full responsibility for defining the system requirements of a client and all technicaldecision-making after consultation with the rest of the team. Takes project responsibility forsignificant undertakings whether in supply chain engineering, systems development, service deliveryor support areas. In so doing is expected to recognize and take appropriate action in respect of anyrisk related aspects, whether it be from a client, a supply chain or an company perspective. Excellent communicator. Communicates effectively, both orally, presentation and in writing, withsubordinates, colleagues, clients and customers at all levels of seniority. Enjoys application development and has the capability to design and develop applications, butprefers to be doing the business requirement definition and systems analysis. Is fully familiar with and will be measured on the contractual obligations and the financial statusof a project, therefore makes recommendations for improving revenue or reducing costs. Takes a leading technical role and is thoroughly familiar with all applicable tools, methods,procedures and equipment within the area of responsibility. Uses experience to make informeddecisions on selection and execution of all technical approaches and is able to give reliable adviceacross a wide technical field. Shows mature qualities of leadership in meeting targets of time, cost, quality and performancewithin projects of substantial value. Shows mature understanding of the relationship of his/her specialization and/or projectresponsibilities to the undertaking as a whole and is able to propose technical solutions within thescope of his/her expertise which fully take into account the needs of all those who will come intocontact with the operational product. Shows initiative and makes time available to ensure general technical competencies andspecializations are kept up-to-date in line with industry developments.
