Contribute to architect. Design, Hands on Coding. Leading a small team of between 2 and 4

This is a very successful fintech product shop; they’ve now reached the scaling stage beyond scale up. As their business in Europe & Asia continues to grow, so does the demand on the products, the demand for further products as well as transformation of legacy products
Your role is going to be heading up one of the product teams. As a hands on dev specialist you will collaboratively be involved in strategy, the lifecycle of production from inception, evangelism & mentoring of the developers around you.
You won’t be able to do it all by yourself, you will form part of a technology team rather than be an island on your own. Your core functions will still be production software development, you will design and code but you will also have slightly more junior people with you to carry the bulk of the lower end coding work.

• You definitely will need design as well as conceptual problem solving & spec building skills.
• Their first choice would be for you to have Full Stack skills, however:
• They are pushing a major front end evolution & will talk to people who have strong, modern Angular experience

Ideally you will also bring:
• Wait for it… it’s a classic full stack spec…
• C# - if you’ve worked in .NET Core, you get extra credit
• Their legacy is Bootstrap based
• Web Api / Rest – any Api driven experience useful
• SQL Server – T-SQL design and code skills
• Any AWS knowledge would help
• This is high performance systems work. Your tech will need to be robust, even the smallest components see high traffic workloads while needing high uptime
• Knowing the leads, I suspect you will also find yourself being asked about modern software engineering concepts ranging from Scrum through TDD & CD
