Role details:
The role focuses on formal training, coaching, developing, supervising and performance managing a portfolio of financial advisers during the secondary phase of their vesting (months 9 – 20 of their employ) ensuring they are retained, competent and productive as quickly as possible.

The role focuses on:

1. Activity, productivity and performance management of financial advisers to ensure that the required controls and processes are in place for newly appointed financial advisers to function effectively.
2. Facilitate financial advisers' formal training & vesting by formulating a customised Training path for each financial adviser based on their prior experience/knowledge/skills as well as the learning outcomes following FP1
3. Perform supplementary on-the-job training with fina on aspects of their function as follows;
• S.net / SanfinWork Systems- Investor, Sanquote, Autonub, Officequote, Linkquote, Alpha Client, Spotlight, Santax, Santrust, Maestro, etc.
• Leads generation and utilisation of the database
• Products and Legal Technical
• Compliance and legislative processes

4. Recruitment of Financial Advisers


Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
• Matric
• CFP/RFP3
• Management/Coaching Diploma
• Must have passed RE
• RE exam
• 120 industry credits

2. Experience:
• Extensive experience in a marketing/sales
• Previous management role.
• Financial Services experience, preferably having been a FA

3. Knowledge:

• IT Skills:

o MS: Office (Excel, Word, PP)
o S.NET and other sales related applications/software (i.e.: Investor, Sanquote, Officequote, Linkquote, Alpha Client, Spotlight, Santax, Santrust, Sanfin, etc)
o Maestro
o Microsoft Outlook

• Business Management:
o Financial Services Industry Knowledge;
o Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)
o Legal technical Knowledge (financial advice related and product related),
o Financial/Assurance products-(broad and background)
o Management & developmental skills to manage/coach staff
o Relevant regulatory, legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)
o Marketing/selling knowledge/skills (including 6 step sales cycle)
o Activity and performance management
o Analyse new business trends
o Distribution Academy training program/courses
o Fit & proper from a FAIS perspective to act as supervisor
