Minimum 6 years of DBA responsibilities in DB2 UDB in UNIX/LINUX environments, including DB2 DPF databases
Database design skills in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments
Database backup and recovery designs
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects
Oracle Server experience
SQL Server experience
Strong SQL coding and debugging skills
Unix shell, PHP, Perl, and DDL scripting
Knowledge of multiple RDBMS database platforms
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support multiple production DB2 databases in 24X7 high-availability and data warehouse environments.
Install and configure new databases, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery, script development and analysis of new technologies to affect cost savings and performance and availability improvements.
Support database design and development efforts.
