Minimum Requirements:BSc Eng (Civ) or BTech Civil Technician
Good understanding of the National Land Transport Transitional Act 22 of 2000
Good understanding of traffic impact studies and be able to conduct capacity analysis for all type of intersections
Good understanding of the public transport industry with specific reference to bus and taxi would be a recommendation
Good communication skills in order to consult with role players involved
Be in a position to prepare reports as well as to evaluate reports
Should understand the planning environment on the various levels of government from local to national
Minimum experience of 8 years in transport related planning projects
Job Responsibilities:
To fulfil a Managerial/Supervision role
To co-ordinate transport related planning projects of the company
To evaluate traffic impact studies prepared by the company
Co-ordinate the Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Section of the Company
