MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITITES

The Business Intelligence Sales Consultant will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients, customers and partners while ensuring customer satisfaction in the Communications, Media, Utilities and Airline industries, with minimal supervision.

Assist customers in defining their strategy and approach to Business intelligence in the organization

Develop and deliver high quality Oracle Business Intelligence presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, proposals and solution architectures.

Assist customers in defining appropriate solution and deployment architectures.

Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, and product future direction of Oracle Business Intelligence solutions.

Work closely with the account management team and participate in activities that matures opportunities through the sales cycle.

Design, validate, and present Oracle Business Intelligence solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

The Sales Consultant will also facilitate demand generation activities and facilitate the sales cycle of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing related products.

From time to time the Sales consulting resources may be required to participate in customer activities outside of South Africa.

Actively use the Oracle internal system and ensure administrative functions are kept up to date. This includes Time sheets,, expense claims and reports required by management.
