Job Purpose:

Takes ownership of single end to end / cross functional BI Projects Take ownership and lead role Manage multiple projects deliverables Plan and prioritize own and team work Contributes to decisions around customer delivery Build and Maintain own customer relations.Job Outputs / Deliverables:

Adhere to and Participate in the Definition, and optimization of technical Processes, procedures standards & guidelines
Provide complex integrated solutions
Support Testers by fixing issues raised by testers during testing phase
Construct and document technical BI solutions
Provide BI consulting

Develop technical Specification that includes integrated high level solutions architecture (HLSA)
Develop code that adheres to tool specific guidelines and standards and best practices

Advance the profession
Mentor and guide BI Developers
Establish effective working relationships with BI peers
Stakeholder engagement and consulting
Conduct research on industry best practice and provide feedback to the team

Qualification / Experience:

Relevant Diploma
Programming Skills in relevant programming language
Code and interface performance monitoring
Certification in one or more of the following SQL , SAS , COGNOS, Microsoft, MDX, Oracle, DB2
5-8 years BI developer experience
Best practice measurement methodologies (Pie charts, Statistical Process Control Charts, Productivity measures etc.)
Graphical design
Research best practice
Benchmarking
