Diploma or degree in IT
Financial qualification an advantage
? Billing, payment and financial experience
? Project management
? Systems knowledge
? Excellent written and oral communications skills
? Extensive knowledge of the SDLC methodologies within an IT environment
? Minimum 1-2 years testing experience i.e. practical experience writing and
executing Unit Tests, understanding of webservices
? Practical experience using SOAP UI, Visual Studio or Eclipse
? Knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies
? Solid knowledge working with a Test Case management tool such as Microsoft Test
? Understanding of XML, SOAP and JSON web services and strategies for
automatically
? Understanding of Application servers, Web servers, network components and
? Experience with JIRA or any other issue tracking tools.
? Solid experience using a source control tool, manages, maintain and build source
code.? Conduct requirement gathering sessions and prototype / interface design
workshops
? Conducts analysis for any specific changes / enhancements to payments for Africa
? Understand Business Requirements
? Documentation of payment processes, information and report requirements
? Implementation of any payment changes
? Participation and deliverables ownership of all relevant projects and sub projects
? Creates Test Cases and Test Plans according to requirements and participate in
releases
? Testing payment methods not limited to mobile wallets, credit cards, retail points
? Defect Logging & Tracking
? Test in a fast-paced environment with both long and short development cycles.
? Perform functional, regression testing and performance testing
? Test usability of applications e.g. validating UI design
? Contribute to a solution and technology framework documentation
? Compile business requirements documentation and functional/technical design
documentation
? Engage with customers (internal & external) regularly ensuring requirements and
service levels are being met i.e. establish relationships, manage 3rd party suppliers
and vendors
