Job Description:•Deliver a strategy and plan for CNP (card not present), related products and value-added services.
•Determine key milestones and deliver on those as agreed with senior management.
•The plan should include all value-added services such as remote CNP authentication, tokenisation and risk mitigation as far as CNP transactions are concerned.
•Pricing, necessary business cases and market positioning (branding, name etc.) should be included.
•Recommend and motivate new payment services (to internal product teams and to customer) based on market trends, customer needs and organisation’s strategy.
•Take accountably for the operational performance of the services from a business perspective and proactively manage this with IT/Operations.
•Performance monitoring, communication and any appropriate industry reporting.
•Identity, select and contract appropriate third party vendors or partners and owning the business relationships with these partners.
•Monthly reporting, account / plan monitoring and implementation of plans.
•Take accountability for the ongoing sales growth, innovation and P&L for the product set.
•Represent the organisation at appropriate Pasa PCH meetings, client CRM interactions and industry forums.
•Liaise, co-ordinate and drive necessary internal support areas to deliver on the product plan.
•Completion of technical requirements and specifications; determining needed hardware and software.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
•Degree or equivalent tertiary diploma.
•8 years payment industry experience
•Must have experience in card payments
•New product development, strong business case & analytical abilities
•Project Management
•Experience in the payment environment (bank or industry level)
•Demonstrate understanding of trends concerning CNP and how the organisation should be positioning itself for the future as regards CNP.
Competencies:
•Proven payments industry experience, gained in CNP or related e-commerce environments / product management with the ability to work across multiple internal disciplines and functions.
•Proven ability to think strategically and lead payments discussions from executive level down.
•Analytical – understand P&L / financial principles and development of business cases.
•Motivated, self-starter; takes initiative and works independently.
•Sound knowledge of retail electronic payments from an Issuing / Acquiring / Network perspective.
•Influencing / negotiation skills.
