ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the implementationof approved policies and procedures for Oracle Admin & Oracle Linux operating system design,implementation and maintenance.
Provide input in the planning of Oracle Linux operatingsystems upgrades and deployment.
Provide support in the implementation and user acceptance testing ofOracle Linux operating systems.
Assist in the development of a proactive maintenance cycle for OracleLinux operating systems and automate preventive/routine maintenance on systems.
Perform daily OracleAdmin & Oracle Linux operating system administration, including hardware & softwareupgrades.
Maintain backup of the Oracle Linux operating system network.
Ensure optimal performance of allapplications running on Oracle Linux operating system environment through proactive tuning andpreventive maintenance.
Perform daily Oracle Admin & Oracle Linux systemschecks and correct any issues.
Monitor Oracle Linux systems performance and recommend adjustments tosystem parameters to ensure optimum performance and response time.
Work with the User Support teamto provide second level support to the end users and ensure timely resolution of Oracle Linux systemproblems.
