A global leader in the provisionand management of specialist IT infrastructure solutions and service’s company, based in theDurban, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking to appoint a Solutions Architect.Knowledgeand Experience:
 

Matric (Grade 12)
At least 5years' professional technical experience related to software development, systems design anddeployment, or networking and infrastructure within a large scale (preferably multi- national)technology services environment 
A minimum of 3 years in a professional technicalrole 
Qualification in Information Technology and/or Technology Management 
Understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs 
Willingness to travel to client locations 
Proven client engagement anddevelopment consulting experience 
Must have excellent technical problem solvingskills, including identifying and addressing performance problems, system defects, hardware issues,etc. 
The ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders toensure that the solution leads to business transformation 
Assertive in approachcoupled with confidence in area of expertise 
Knowledge and understanding of ITindustry environment and business needs 
Ability to engage with a variety ofstakeholders and colleagues at all levels 
Ability to work in high-pressuresituations and manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously 
Takeresponsibility for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of thesolution
Be responsible for solution design, business development, and transition ofprojects from presales to delivery, and sales support
Work with Solution Architects toproduce a technical specification for the custom development and systems integration requirementsfor the solution 
Influence and guide members of the Sales team and to ensure thatthey are equipped to close deals
