Job Purpose:

Follow defined procedures and standards in execution of assigned work tasks.
Works under supervision/ independently to ensure the stability and availability of the Enterprise Systems Management Tools within the specific area of responsibility, including the provision of advise, guidance and support to customers and technical staff.

Responsibilities:

Manage and action customer requests/calls.
Provide office administrative support to the team.
Acts on MIS information as provided by Senior colleagues.
Engage with team members and provide timeous and effective feedback.
Provide 1st level support and occasional 2nd level support and trouble shooting against guidelines.
Monitor the trends of systems activity and work with senior colleagues to agree policies for future system enhancements.
Provide system access within mandate.

Perform regular health checks as per documented procedures.
Manage systems software configurations ensuring that all standards are observed and procedures are carried out in a timely manner in order that all systems functionality and data is accurate.

Execute on implementation plans for new/ upgraded/ enhancements as required.
To agree and adhere to an integrated development plan.

Qualifications:

Matric - Computer literate
IT Diploma or degree or equivalent experience

Job Related Experience:

1-2 years IT industry or related experience
Product certification an advantage
IT Industry (Specifically IT Operations)
Configurations Management experience essential
