An opportunity exists for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join the National Marketing Department in a well known Environmental product companyMinimum Requirement:
BSc degree in Agriculture / Horticulture
(Honours / Masters degree an added advantage)
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in the vegetable and turfgrass seed industry
A solid background in providing technical support within a marketing and sales environment will be required.
Financial Acumen and computer literacy (intermediate level) essential

Duties:
Evaluates seed product range on an on-going basis and recommends new cultivar introductions to, and deletions from, the product range
Develop and implement product and marketing strategies and provide specialized product and marketing input
Develop long-term relationships with strategic customers and regularly visits current and potential customers and ensure continuous communication is maintained.
Compile financial- and unit budgets and monitor unit sales of products on an on-going basis.
Identify the national product / technical training needs of sales staff and co-ordinate the implementation of a sustained national product training programme.
Provide technical and sales support for sales teams on the relevant crops
