Skills and Experience
Qualifications: Relevant National Diploma / Degree. Two to three years’ experience with InforERP or ERP systems specifically relating to the Logistics modules would be preferred, but any ERPFinance experience will be considered. At least two years’ experience in implementing variouslogistics modules on another ERP product of a similar nature, which should include at least one fulllifecycle of an ERP project implementation. Understanding of and implementation experience with atleast the following ERP modules: Sales, Purchasing, Distribution, Manufacturing, Warehousing andMaterials Management Understanding of basic logistics principles Implementation Projects: HelpSenior consultant with facilitation of the deployment process by leading workshops with client tounderstand the current and future business processes Data migration template population andimporting data template Data migration checks and balances Document daily, weekly and monthlylogistics processes and procedures in an ERP environment Identify, prioritize and deploy changes andimprovements to business processes Configuration of system according to deployment design Workclosely with finance consultants to ensure that full solution requirement is met. Testing to ensurethat the business requirements have been met Develop user training material where required anddeliver training in relevant logistics modules. Conduct Training Various aspects of implementationand support of the ERP system at various sites. Development of functional specifications for thecustomisation of existing functionality or complete new modules. Logistics Support: Assistingexisting customers with logistics related requests logged via the service desk Implementation of newmodules or functionality Assisting customers with additional customisations in terms of analyzingbusiness processes, confirming the validity of the proposed customisation, writing specificationsand testing.
