This role will be based in the lovely city of Cape Town. They have the ability to solve a businesses’ most complex problems with their dynamic firm team and the help of a strategic individual who is very analytical with regard to integrating data from a vast range of business systems.

Job Description

Requirements
? You will be required to develop and design analytical models using specifies toolsets, experience in developing ETL / ELT procedures
? Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
? Communicate technical information and be competent enough to voice challenges and solutions to the project and leadership teams
The successful candidate must have first-hand experience in 3 or more of the following;
? Exposure to Cloud BI / Azure / AWS / GCP
? Hadoop
? SQL Server Stack
? SAP Hana will be highly advantageous
? Data Warehousing principals based on Kimball and Vault patterns
Technology required for this role;

? C++
? Scala

Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
? At least 2 years of experience working as a data engineer
? Masters in Data Science will be advantageous
? Highly analytical and skilled person in Maths and Statistics
? Documenting of process detail

It’s a permanent position based in Cape Town Central offering a salary of R550k to R750k per annum cost to company, negotiable based on experience and current level.
