This request is for performance testing resources to perform regression performance testing during Release 2. The Vendors will perform performance testing of their own interfaces. These resources will run the regression performance tests of the Vendor interfaces together with all previously migrated interfaces in production (to ensure that all solution currently in production can run well without performance degradation as more interfaces are added to the mix). These resources solely focus on regression testing of current production solutions, whilst the vendors focus on the assigned release 2 solutions.

Scope of work/supply

The scope of work of these resources working on Release 2 is:
• Definition of performance test approach/method
• Arrange and drive workshops with the clients and SMEs
• Provide guidance on performance testing including:
• Which tests to be included in performance testing
• Performance testing approach
• Measure effectiveness of performance testing
• Put in place processes and practices to ensure performance test scripts remain current
• Execute performance regression testing
• Resolution of any issues which could impact performance testing
• Ensure performance scripts are version managed
• Arrange scheduling of performance tests
• Test and debug performance test scripts
• Verify and secure documentation re performance test scripts
• Obtain approval from the relevant stakeholders for the completed performance tests
• Schedule regular performance runs to ensure performance test scripts are current
• Ensure that all performance test scripts are uploaded into HP Quality Center
• An understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS
• An understanding of networking and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSP, ASP, Flash
• Ability to compile and present performance test results
