Leadin planning and development of application.
Understanding the business need and thespecification provided.
Writing and testing the application code.
Plan, develop andtest integration of application.
Design database for application.
Document theprogram code.
Plan and conduct application implementation.
Maintain applications orfunctions as assigned.
Documentation of components of applications developed.
Assistin technology investigations.
Assist in providing solutions and advice to applicationsupport staff and users.
Simulate a reported problem whenever possible.
Design anddocument database enquiries to extract required data for a request orproblem.

 
Skills/experiencerequired:
 

 Qualifications

Completed B Sc or B Tech degree (orequivalent degree or   diploma) in Computer Science OR
A certified Java, VB, .NET,CA:Gen, C or Oracle Apps   Developer OR
Five years’ experience in systemsdevelopment with diverse   applications

  Knowledge

Knowledgeable in current OO development   technologies, likeJava, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate and the Eclipse IDE
Knowledgeable in VB Scripts, VB, .NET (VB, C#, C++, ASP), Classic ASP,
CA: Gen, C, Oracle Apps or  Process360.
Knowledgeable in all Web   Technologies,Web Services and SOA
 

  Experience

At   least three years of systems development work inrequired technology (if the   necessary qualifications are present, otherwise it should be 5years)
Able to   perform tasks without constantsupervision and guidance.
Have a   good work ethic andtake responsibility for their work.
