Role details:
To support the Infrastructure & Cloud Services effort by providing technical and client specific solutions to drive business outcomes, focussing on digital transformation. This is achieved through the investigation, consultation and understanding of clients’ requirements through to the full solution response of proposal preparation

Core Functional Knowledge/ Skills

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
• Continually assess the business and technology environment to identify sales opportunities which are aligned to the business requirements of the client.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuits that result in deals to enable digital transformation for clients.
• Interpret and translate business requirements into an ICT Service solution, providing detailed component breakdowns and specifications on products.
• Evaluate proposed solution components, incorporating emerging and innovative new technology in terms of application, cost, support, life span, robustness and scalability.
• Produce solution/approach with accurate cost estimates, pre-staffing plans, financial costs, risks and contingency / risk reserve requirements and budgetary estimations that leads to profitable engagements and that meet customers' expectations for scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage a collaborative solution design process through facilitation of solution development workshops.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations to facilitate customer solution understanding.
• Provide ongoing technical support for customers post-implementation.
• Collaborate and facilitate optimum engagement within BCX to drive presales efforts, and build trusted relationships with strategic partners, customers and vendors in support of market dominance

Qualifications
Relevant Degree (NQF 7) in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
Alternatively, Grade 12 with the relevant IT Certification

Experience
5 years’ experience in IT presales support with specific focus on Infrastructure & Cloud Services
Alternatively, 7+ years’ experience in IT presales support
