Prestigious parastatal company based in Midrand is looking for a Senior SAS Developer for a12 months contract. The candidate must have four years' experience in SAS development utilisingAgile methodology and in SAS DIMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Three year qualification or four years in SAS development utilising Agile methodology
Good understanding of IT procedure and guidelines and hands on development/administrationexperience in SAS DI
Good understanding of ITIL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solutions development and enhancement on existing solutions
Investigations,impact analysis and recommendations
Carry out root cause analysis on 3rd linesupport issues
Query improvement and optimisation in consultation with applicationteam.
resolutions for product related bugs; Unit and End to end testing ofdevelopment
Development utilising the Agile Methodology
Expertunderstanding of IT procedures and guidelines
Extensive knowledge of BIapplications and BI infrastructure Requirements
Design, develop, implement andintegrate object and user security models.
Install and configure client tools.
Ability to interact and advise developers and users regarding best practices foroptimal usage of the appliance and issue resolution.
Hands on development/adminexperience in SAS DI
