• Mid-sized Supply Chain specialist offering advanced software solutions;
• Laid back, hardworking team – not too much fazes them and they graft hard when it’s needed;
• Their dev team is small, tight and very much a team of doers; they don’t debate too much but rather get the code written and implemented;
• Software processes millions of transactions per month; has already processed over 12b transactions in total and has instances running across South Africa, Europe and China;

• They’ve strategically now made a decision to go after the new tech and ideas – where in the past they have been slightly stagnant on tech.

They’re looking for people:
• Able to design, build and rollout large, complex software;
• High energy, there’s a ton of work across Portals, Devices, Reporting with loads of Integration;
• There are also multiple custom applications across the enterprise;
• You should have a broad understanding of Microsoft based Software technology;
• Your core skills lie within C#.NET;
• You need both ASP.NET Webforms as well as ASP.NET MVC;
• You will need strong MS SQL Server exp – writing and optimising Stored Procedures in a complex environment;
• SSRS or Crystal useful.

A combination of legacy as well as new tech needed. For example the environment is a WebForms Architecture now BUT you will be chasing MVC and later in the months to come;
There are still instances of SQL Server 2000 but the business needs to move onto the later SQL stacks.

Good knowledge of the newer Client Side tech would be very useful;
Previous experience in a high availability, 24/7 environment useful.
