Job description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the excellent quality of a number of software products. The position entails the creating of, reviewing of and execution of software testing specifications and involves working as part of a team and mentoring other team members. The role includes responsibility for creating and maintaining testing environments. Test engineers are also required to design, create and maintain automated test scripts.

Skills:
Experience testing complex software systems
Strong SQL skills, including writing SQL queries
The ability to perform operating system installations and software installations
The ability to follow an algorithm
Experience writing and editing test scripts
Experience creating and maintaining testing environments
Above average written and spoken communication skills
Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle

Experience:
1-4 years relevant experience.

Minimum requirements:
B.Sc Computer Science/Engineering or appropriate IT diploma or at least 4 years Quality Assurance testing experience

Work permit requirements:
South African citizens only or Permanent residency.
