Experience & Qualifications• Relevant Degree.
• 5-8 years' experience as a Java EE software developer.
• Extensive experience in Spring and Hibernate (at least 3 years).
• Extensive SQL experience (at least 5 years).
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise, SOA and development patterns and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of unit and integration testing and test automation.
• Experience in build, release and test automation.
• Experience in IBM Websphere, MQ and Process Server will be an advantage.
The Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Implementing solutions within the confines of the existing application framework and architecture.
• Providing technical assistance to support staff.
• Continuously improving and refactoring existing application architecture.
• Continuous verification of code compliance to architectural standards, structures and practices.
• Mentoring and coaching of Java (Enterprise Edition) developers.
• Providing technical assistance to dev-ops engineers.
• Unit and integration testing.
