My client, one of the largest retailers in the Africa Continent is actively seeking an Inventory Manager to monitor and administer all aspects of inventory control as well as their on-site inventory operational department based in Johannesburg.This JSE Listed Company believes in people and encourages employee growth and development. For the past 5 years the Group’s core focus has been to strengthen its strong South African retail businesses, while adopting a systematic approach to expanding into adjacent areas, including geographical growth through the African continent.

Qualification:
Degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management


Experience:
3 – 5 years’ experience in Operations/Logistics Management
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar/Senior Operations role/inventory control

Skills Required:
Understanding of Inventory systems, policies and procedures
Computer Literacy – MS Word and strong excel skills
Good knowledge of WMS
SAP warehousing / Inventory system is essential
Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
Ability to manage customer relationships
Excellent leadership skills
Planning and organizational skills
