An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Seafreight Export Controller with passion for the clearing and forwarding industry.This is a well-known large corporate global clearing and forwarding company that has big plans for even further growth for 2016. They require your go getter, ambitious personality coupled with minimum 5 years’ experience in the clearing and forwarding industry specializing in seafreight exports (general commodities).
The position holds a succession plan therefore confidence and leadership capabilities will benefit you in securing this position.

Qualification:
Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary qualifications would be preferential.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience as an export controller within the clearing and forwarding industry (Seafreight) is essential.

Skills and requirements:
- Negotiating with shipping lines
- Extensive client/customer liaison
- Thorough knowledge of Incoterms
- Opening & closing files
- Forwarding and clearing of cargo
- Ensuring all relevant regulations are adhered to
