Specialist Oracle PL/SQL Developer @ R650K/R550K– BANKING/SandtonOne of the top 4 Banks in South Africa have and exciting opportunity for a technically challenged Specialist Oracle Developer. Successful applicants will provide structured documentation of data transformation, propagation, and aggregation as well as derivation rules for populating the data warehouse (ETL Design) using PL/SQL. Requirements:
• BSC Degree or a BCom in a related IT field essential.
• Formal Oracle qualification would be advantageous
• 5+ YEARS experience in Oracle Development essential
• 4+ YEARS Database development experience ESSENTIAL (Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g Forms and Reports, MySQL, PL/SQL)
• Sound Knowledge SQL and UNIX
• Knowledge in Web-based development tools is to your advantage: XML, HTML etc.
• Knowledge in the banking environment and database development is to your advantage
• SDLC
Responsibilities:
• To develop and implement appropriate and efficient systems according to provided specifications, standards and procedures, using various tools and languages but within the architectural standards.
• System design, development, implementation and maintenance
• Performance tuning on existing PL/SQL programs written by other developers.
• Working with Oracle PL/SQL modules, triggers, functions, procedures, queries, and UNIX scripting
