JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Purpose of position:
• To develop and manage a selected database of Reseller Partners and achieve the targets attached to each customer (Overall GP and Revenue, GP% as well as Product Quadrant targets).
Key Responsibility Areas:
• First line of contact for selected customer base
• Ensure maximum customer satisfaction
• Provide relevant information regarding products in terms of their technologies, features and benefits, as well as licensing agreements
• To timely and accurately handle customer queries and quotations
• Create specific pricing and service structures for each client in allocated database
• Negotiate pricing with clients and close sale on agreed price
• Provide the customer with estimated delivery times and order status information
• Minimize stock related cost to the customer
• Facilitate all necessary documentation required for transactions and licensing agreements
• Manage the closed sale including the financial transaction and the dispatch thereof
• Maximize procurement of product from AxizWorkgroup and seek opportunistic sales on customer calls
• Analyse customer profile of sales against AxizWorkgroup products. Close gaps and introduce new technologies and product lines
• Analyse customer profile of sales and identify gaps in AxizWorkgroup product range for presentation as opportunities to AxizWorkgroup key stakeholders
• Build an awareness of the cost, revenue implications, market conditions and actions to ensure sustained competitive advantage in volatile market place.
• Hold weekly pipeline management meetings and monthly account review meetings and quarterly management reviews
• Build Account Plan by partner upon completion of Heat Map and TAM / GAP analysis
• Present sales trend, backorder and operational reports for analysis of opportunities for cost management and sales development
• Explore all opportunities and feedback information to sales and product management, marketing, logistics and debtors to ensure smooth flow in availability, development of new product opportunities, aggressive follow-up of deals/opportunities and smooth availability of credit facilities

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:
• Three years sales experience in the IT industry (Essential), in IT distribution (preferred)
• One year sales experience selling to large corporate customers (preferred)
• Account management experience (Essential) with customer references
• Knowledge of the processes critical in support of sales. E.g. RMA's and Deliveries (essential)
• Marketing or commerce degree or diploma (preferred)
