Job Responsibilities:Assumes responsibility for efficiently and effectively supporting internal customers and maintaining productive relations with vendors, internal and external customers.
Initiate and co-ordinate the procurement of inventory.
Facilitates and resolve inventory related enquiries and/or redirect to internal resources or the Vendor.
Liaises with procurement and logistics to ensure the delivery of inventory within established timeframes.
Ensures that inventory requests and problems are promptly tracked and resolved.
Liaises with procurement regarding Vendor stock issues.
Action Vendor returns, i.e. stock rotations and license returns.
Ensures vendor claims are completed accurately and timeously and the corresponding Vendor claims account is reconciled on monthly. Queries related to these vendor claims must be resolved efficiently.
Ensures that inventory and price adjustments are done accurately and timeously.
Vendor point-of-sale and inventory reports to be submitted accurately and timeously.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.
Keeps Channel managers informed of area activities and significant problems.
Internal interaction and support regarding inventory availability and queries.
Assists company and division as required.
Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
Attends meetings as required.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Maintain a working knowledge of all the products in the portfolio that you assist in.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Provides backup for division as required.
Follows any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person.
Attends related training as required
Qualifications:
Matric
Administrative qualification preferred.
Skills & Experience:
Good understanding of MS Office products and financial applications.
Minimum of two years related experience preferably in a distribution environment.
Previous IT Software & Hardware ordering experience.
Excellent administrative skills (attention to detail a must).
Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
Solid verbal and written communication.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Able to coordinate multiple priorities and projects.
Good problem solving skills.
Able to work independently.
Team player.
Computer literate (MS Office)
