One of our external clients basedin Gauteng is looking for an Operations Integrator to travel between branches, in PTA, Mpumalangaand Limpopo. 3 month contract to extend

Overview/Purpose

·         Ensure end-to-end operational management and stability of all BU IToperational service provision

(cross infrastructure and applications) so that there is no avoidance of service deliveryresponsibility

·         by any service provider within the BU

• Ensure that the ‘buck stopshere’ within the BU
• Ensure compliance to BU specific Mine Health and Safety procedures by all BU IToperational service providers
• Ensure seamless projects to operations handover
Major Challenges:


• Manageinter-dependencies & multiple vendor relationships in terms of to service performance acrossdistributed areas
•Develop vendor relationship to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery within a dynamicoperational environment
•Risk management of BU operational environment
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, policies & procedures byall 3rd parties• Ensure adherence to BU specific Mine Health and Safety compliance
 • Maintain and ensure a healthy environment, safe operations practices, ensuringcompliance with all applicable 4
SHE policies procedures in line with set standards• Encourage a culture that focuseson safety in all operations
• Governance: Ensure function adheres toCompany and BU governance, policies, standards, statutory and legal compliance.
Entrench a culture of discipline.
• Adhere to functional policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, end-to-endprocesses, tools, templates etc.
.• Assist in standardising, simplifying and speeding-up functional processes,eliminating duplication/bureaucracy
• Actively review the as-is BU operational environment for optimisation and costreduction
• Applyend-to-end operational best practices, promote sharing of best practices/knowledge
•Performance management: Adhere to performance management procedures.
•Company culture/functional climate:Uphold the Company culture and values within the function.
Foster effective teamwork and unity.
• Identify& implement CI initiatives to improve end-to-end service delivery and drive costreduction
• Analyseend-to-end service delivery trends, determine potential impact on the enterprise
• Facilitate effective knowledge managementaccording to organisational objectives
• Ensure & comply to Company andBU specific policies & procedures & governance frameworks
• Proactively communicate & ensureadherence to ICT policies & procedures from all relevant parties to ensure
 effective & efficient use of ICTthroughout Company
•Comply with Operations ICT policies & procedures from an Application and Infrastructureperspective
• Activelydefine and manage risks
• Liaise & build relationships withcustomers, end-users and service providers to ensure good working
relationships & drive cost-effectiveness &optimal service delivery
•Manage ICT Service providers to assure coordinated & integrated ICT service delivery
• Understand internal & externaldecision making
• Monitor and manage the integration of BUend-to-end service delivery processes and service levels between customers,
users, and multiple service providers• Driveresolution of BU incident and problem management
• Manage, monitor and measure overall quality of services and servicelevels; and trends thereof
• Provide the monthly service management, support and delivery reports (performanceagainst SLAs, reactive and
pro-active reports, planned activities as per responsible region)
• Manage and integrate projects to operationshandovers; ensure seamless integration to operational service delivery
•Coordinate & log BU change requests, prepare change schedules and documentation forCAB
• Coordinate probleminvestigations (recurring incidents of events) and implementation of remedial action
• Provide input to an up to dateOperations manual
• Planand manage an annual physical audit of all ICT configuration items deployed and stored within the BUenvironment
• Maintain anaccurate CMDB and as built documentation• Co-ordinate and execute DRPs
• Monitor and drive capacity management•Provide Life cycle management input for optimal Portfolio definition
• Manage,monitor & communicate BU end-to-end operational performance levels/metrics
for 3rd parties aligned with agreed standards andprocedures
• Provide inputto optimised commercial-sourcing agreements with service providers and suppliers
• Provide input into development of policies,standards and SOPs
Qualifications:
 
• BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Essential/Minimum) or
•B Degree (Hons) (Relevant)
• Certificate ITIL Foundation & Expert -Essential/Minimum
• MCSE Certification - Essential/Minimum
Experience:


6-8 years
