Job Description
Successfully manages customer relationships
Supports delivery of service program to major Cisco and Arista customers.
Performs analysis of complex network designs.
Builds simulated networks in test labs to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
Conforms to service delivery of Advanced Services standards.
Questions ways of working and suggests improvements.
Provides remote or onsite deployment support.
Performs analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems.
Generates reusable Intellectual Capital in the form of standard customer deliverables.
May perform customer facing presentations.
May collaborate proactively with other SME’s to ensure optimal use of resources to meet customer needs.
Consultant/Engineer role

Generates standard project documentation including detailed test plan for complex networks.
Generate, build and execute technical and complex test plans and topologies in Proof Of Concept/Proof Of Value environments.
Generates network configurations from Low Level Design for complex networks.
Executes all phases of project delivery including network staging, implementation and handover.
Plans and executes complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
Reviews Implementation Plans.
Facilitates design workshop.
Documents or reviews network requirements and High-Level Design.
Documents or reviews Low Level Design.
Reviews Implementation Plans.
Produces architectural network designs for large-scale networks.
Assists customer with deployment of complex network tools and related Network
Management Systems.
Facilitate design workshop.
Reviews Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
Plans and executes complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
Works with clients, Account Team and Standard Bank resources on the strategy and deployment of most services and required Network Support Systems
Plans and executes complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
Leads and works on projects that are medium to large in scope with moderate complexity, which involves solutions integration.
Independently develops plans, coordinates and executes tasks.
Ensures commitments and deliverables are met. Recommends and initiates projects to benefit customer and Advanced Services objectives.

Qualifications
ND/DEGREE IT
Cisco Certification Essential
Skills
Plus 3-5 years Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Cisco Network implementation, ACI Network support, ACI pre-sales support, ACI hands on installation. LAN /WAN network deployment.
Superior level knowledge in the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, ATM & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols. IP Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Superior level internetworking troubleshooting in a medium / large-scale network environment. Consultant/Engineer should be trained and capable of independently delivering network service support. Directly involve in installation, Configuration and Integration of Cisco Network Projects. Consultant/Engineer to go through structured training program to achieve next level of expertise and career advancement. Knowledgeable of Advanced Services type model deliverables and expectations. Undertake support as designated Advanced Services Consultant/Engineer for a small to medium-scale network.
Network design skills. Ability to share /mentor technical expertise of others.
Leading edge technology design skills. Undertake support as designated Advanced Services engineer for medium/large-scale networks. Must possess good technical account management skills. Medium/Large-scale network design skills.
Active participant in virtual technology teams in Advanced Services. Superior knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity planning. Good /Superior Consulting and communication skills. Professional Level CCNP or CCDP, CCIE R&S, CCIE DATA CENTER , Cisco ACI mandatory + 3/5 of years hands on experience
