One of South Africa’s premier IT companies is looking for an Administrator to join their dynamic HR team. Our client is a respected software house and is regarded as an attractive and stable employer. They are constantly growing which equates to a busy HR team and sees them needing to employ an additional resource. They are looking for an Administrator with advanced Excel skills who will be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing Letters of Employment and confirming employment; onboarding of new employees; updating Standard Operating Procedures; updating of various salary and stats schedules; handling admin for Graduate Programme onboarding as well as Learnership and Bursary Programme intakes; sick leave admin for international companies; preparing CVs of company employees for clients: ensuring data is collected and final formatting of documents; handling all training administration; approval of staff personal updates on HR Portal; Medical Aid annual audit; banking project onboarding of employees admin and various other general administrative duties. The successful candidate will need to be willing to get their hands dirty with whatever needs to be done. This role calls for attention to detail and very strong administration skills as high volumes of e-mails, documentation and schedules are required. To apply you need a minimum of a Matric (a BCom will be preferred) coupled with 5 to 10 years solid Administration experience. You will need excellent Excel skills (Formulas, Graphs, Charts, Pivot Tables and Vlookups), intermediate to advanced MS Word and Outlook, and an excellent command of English (verbal and written). General HR, Payroll and Accounting knowledge will be an advantage. This position would suit someone who is willing to work in a hybrid setup with reliable internet and the ability to work from home uninterrupted when required and comfortable working in a team environment in an open plan office when in the office. You should be deadline driven, have great follow up skills and be able to handle pressure. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and is enthusiastic with a professional disposition as you will be required to provide prompt feedback to staff. Own transport and valid drivers’ license essential.
