A client in Cape Town is lookingfor Desktop Engineer with ±2 years' experience using Active Directory, Network Infrastructuredelivering first and second line technical support on all workstations. Server knowledge would be anadvantage.

CORE DUTIES +RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Deliver first and second line technical support on all workstations within area of service.
Responsible for upgrading and maintaining end-usersoftware versions and equipment.
Co-ordinate,install, set up and complete departmental moves with regards to IT equipment.
Effective and efficient handling of assigned incidents.
Maintenance of all hardware on workstations.
Schedule standby for after hour support
Identify financial and business risks to the company and escalate accordingly.
 
Ensure end user satisfaction with excellent service withregards to assigned incidents.
 
Professionaland efficient communication to relevant stakeholders.
 
Support effective teamwork.
 
Engage with appropriate training interventions to promote own professional development.
 
Share and transfer of product, process and systemknowledge.
 
Work as part of a team to deliverservice in assigned area.

A+/MCSE
AD, Windows 7
