Our external clientis looking for an IT Systems Administrator To ensure that the IT infrastructure is in place andavailable to meet the needs of the business and assume responsibility for the maintenance andoperations of computer systems, servers and networks infrastructureAdministering IT Infrastructure for effectiveservice delivery:

Responsibility for the maintenance and operations ofcomputer systems, servers and networks infrastructure
Administers the installation,configuration, routine maintenance, upgrades, and daily support for the networks, servers, storage,and data center and telecom equipment.
Availability and capacity monitoring of Data center,Servers, LAN/WAN, Telecommunication, Audi visual, CCTV and Access control & Biometricsystems    
Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstationsand associated production systems.
Documents network problems and resolution for futurereference
Manages all systems back-up and restore protocol.
Collaboratesproactively with others on the IT team and throughout the business, as well as end users, to analyzebusiness needs and design and implement solutions that meet the company’sneeds.  
Administers effective delivery of quality technical support to internaland external customers.
Assesses new solutions or services and suggest enhancements to ITInfrastructure Manager.
Plans and schedules operational activities and manages ITAssets
Administer operational relationships with key 3rd Party supplier

Administer AD, messaging and collaboration systems:

Troubleshoot,diagnose, and resolve problems with Microsoft Active Directory Domain, SCCM and email accounts

Administer IT Security on IT Infrastructure include among others thefollowing:

Ensure the implementation of IT security Policy within theorganization and resolving issues with regard to this.
Ensure that procedures are in placeto detect, investigate, report and resolve security incidents.
Ensure that informationsecurity awareness education and training is provided to all stakeholders.
Monitor (e.g. bymeans of self-assessment) that the Information Security policy is implemented within theorganization and acting to improve information security.

 

University Degree in  Computer Science/ComputerEngineering/Software Engineering/Information Technology/ Information Science Degree
Required Certifications:  Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE);  MicrosoftCertified System Administrator (MCSA); Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA),VMware                 

 

Minimum 4  yearsrelevant working experience
Proven experience in the following:

ITInfrastructure – Network Administration, Infrastructure Support, SystemsAdministration/Implementation/Integration, etc; Data center server maintenance (including patching,backups and troubleshooting; Systems: Windows, Servers, Cisco Systems and HP Desktop Support –Hardware & Software on Windows Desktops/Laptops/Tablets; Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs,Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VoIP, MPLS Networks, VLAN, IP Subnets, WirelessNetworking, Cloud technology (Microsoft Office 365; POP3, IMAP, Active Sync (Email protocols, MSExchange experience, .pst files); Security – Firewalls, Web Filtering & VPN Technologies;Server OS (Microsoft Server 2008/2012 (Active Directory and DNS)), VMware, HP 3Par, Cisco equipment(firewall, switches, routers and VoIP), and Microsoft Active Directory; Data center management

A good understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)principles, practices and processes
