Postilion AD Software Engineering is looking for a manager to lead a subset of the Postilion product areas, namely Office and PostCard. The manager will have roughly 14 individual contributors reporting to him/her. The manager will have the pleasure of working with a high performing group of individuals ranging from Principal to Associate Software Engineers, including our Postilion Product Database Lead (PDL). These teams cover products contributing to both our Retail Payments and Merchant Retail product lines. The role is unique in that it has exposure to both OLTP and back-office products – the full payments experience!

Job Description
Manages and directs ACIs development resources in accordance with corporate and division goals and objectives. Instructs and guides staff to maximize their technical, managerial, and corporate growth and development. Provides feedback and completes performance appraisals. Develops annual staff salary, training plans, and reports on the status of the staff and projects.

Works with senior management to set the technical direction for company products and services. Leads and guides the development and maintenance products and services ensuring that they align with the company’s strategic and business plans.

Manages product security including product risk reduction, compliance, product security training, product security software development life cycle, and security architecture.

Leads interaction with internal and external organizations and individuals to ensure appropriate information exchange, with the goal of properly developing the staff and successfully completing assigned projects.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
5 years software development and/or design experience.
Management or leadership experience.
South African Citizenship or Permanent Residence. We will consider certain valid work permits.
