Start up within a corporate. Looking for a very strong Python Developer, ideally to take ownership of a market leading product needing to reach MVP.

All the protection of working for a JSE listed Brand. All of the blood, sweat, tears, joys, r&d, new production, new ideas, idea ownership of a tech startup.
Machine Learning. Artificial Intelligence. Advanced Bots. Heading towards Natural Language Processing. All with a view to globalisation.
Product. Internal Consulting.
? This role calls for a very mature Senior Software Engineer with a particular taste for Python. The role is a hands on Developer job but we’re also hoping that you will take ownership of the concepts. Leading the tech idea generation. Architecture & some of the product ownership. (there’s an incredibly strong business team there already, you’re going to take on the tech side with help from a Tech Partner).

The role is building an advanced product focusing on a niche problem.
? You’re the type of person that is already working on or interested in topics like Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence.
? You are a Python Developer OR know enough about Python to get going in it quickly.
? You are experienced in the Cloud space. We’d prefer Open Source but will consider anyone with Azure, Amazon or Google (GPC) experience.
? You’ve gained some respect for the Compliance needed within a Corporate.
? You’ve experienced the Lean nature of start ups.

We’d like you to have but don’t expect:
? Experience building a product for the global market.
? Built Bots – either at work or at home.
? Agile experience.
? Have decent to strong respect for the UI/UX needed to get Director buy in.

As mentioned, this is a Python based job. I need you to have some engineering experience in Python. This is not a Data Scientist role.
