Are you starting out? Have you majored in Statistics and interested in a career in software development? We are building a mathematically-intensive solution for a client and are looking for the person to join this team. This project will lead you through the essential steps of software development from requirements confirmation through the construction, testing and deployment phases. You will be able to learn from some highly skilled people. We are based in the Southern Suburbs in a cooperative office environment. Besides an interest in stats and software, the following would enhance your suitability:- You feel at home in Java
- You would be comfortable to work with our team and the client to clarifying and flesh out precise requirements
- You are able to work independently
The salary will be market-related, but suitable for a person entering or having recently entered the job market. Start date is open to negotiation, but between 15-Jan and 15-Feb.
