APEX is transitioning from a build-focused extension factory to an organization that participates in all phases of implementations. To shape and execute on its strategy, a Senior Manager, Project Architecture position has been opened.

This Manager will lead a ''15 person team that consists of 5 architects (3x BASE24-eps, 2x Postilion) and a manager that oversees 10 UP endpoint developers. This internationally distributed team has the possibility to grow over time.

Job description

The Project Architecture manager will:
• Define, improve and govern process for customer project architecture
• Define, improve and govern Services oriented development practices
• Define, improve and govern extension architecture
• Align APEX with chief and product architecture vision
• Participate in large or complex sales opportunities
• Provide solution oriented UP expertise across APEX and its partner organizations

Participates in development of annual staff salary, budget plans, and reports to senior management on the status of the staff and projects. Manages and directs ACI’s development resources in accordance with corporate and division goals and objectives. Instructs and guides staff to maximize their corporate growth and development. Provides feedback and completes performance appraisals.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
8 – 10 years software development experience
South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Highly Desired Qualifications
Postilion and / or BASE24-eps software architecture experience.
