Description:  Implement, guide and maintain all testing activities across the Product/Products .Execution of theday-to-day testing activities and deliverables by applying test strategy, test plans for ReleaseQuality and timeous delivery. Responsible to write and review functional code and creation ofdesigns, data structures and architecture of the Product .Writes own test code and overall ownershipof the quality of that code.

Education and ExperienceRequired
•             BSc or BAdegree preferred but relevant testing experience will supersede
•             At least 4years of relevant software testing experience with demonstrated abilities in the software testingfield.
•             At least 1year of relevant lead role experience on testing projects
 
Key Skills:
•             Experiencewith approaches and/or methodologies such agile, waterfall and lean development
•             Identify testrequirements from specifications or any other form of requirements
•             Map test caserequirements
•             Design testcoverage plan (requirements matrix)
•             Develop,document and maintain functional test cases and other test artefacts like test data, datavalidation, requirement matrices and reports
•            Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases
•            Reporting test results
•             Isolate,replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
•             Manageproject/stream deliverables
•             Manageproject impediments and drive resolution
•             Strongreporting skills to stakeholders
•             Mentorshipand assistance to other project team members in the testing team
Technical Skills:
•             SQL(Awareness of relational DB structure and use of queries to return and/or update data)
•             Scripting inVBScript, Groovy, Python, or JavaScript will be advantageous
 
Testing Tools:
•            Test Management Tools (HP Quality Center/ALM, Test Link, etc.)
•             DefectManagement Tools (HP Quality Center, Atlassian JIRA, Bugzilla, IBM Rational ClearQuest,etc.)

Tester with 5-7 years of experience of thefollowing: Analysing test requirements specifications and inputting to test strategies, Changecontrol and management of test ware, Developing test scenarios, Managing the execution of smalltesting projects/individual components of larger testing projects, ensuring quality and timeliness,Signing off entry and exit criteria for components for which they are responsible, Providing statusreports and updates, Reviewing test cases developed and the test execution results, Ensuring defectsare logged correctly and tracked through to closure using the appropriate defect tracking tool,Managing and motivating junior team members, Ensuring adherence to testing standards andguidelines
