Leading, financial services concern, with a sterling reputation for performance excellence, are looking to appoint an astute Reconciliation & Reporting Specialist / Fund Accountant to join their finance team
In this role, reporting in to the Manager: Finance and Administration, be responsible for performing the accounting and administration functions for retirement funds including financial reporting, preparing the monthly management accounts for the retirement fund products ito IFRS standards and Financial Reporting Standards ito the Pension Funds Act; quarterly Reserve Bank reporting, reconciliation reports etc.
B.Com / B.Compt in Accounting / similar qualification essential Qualification in retirement funds very pref. 3 years experience with a sound knowledge of tax laws in general and investment, retirement funds and insurance, advanced knowledge of IFRS, as well as sound reporting and financial management skills essential . Retirement funding industry experience very preferable.
