Main Purpose of theJob             
To provideshared HC administration and payroll services to the business and take accountability for correct,timeous, and legally compliant capturing and maintenance of employee data. To ensure that the SAPpayroll system is compliant to statutory and legal requirements.
Key PerformanceAreas               

Coordinate the payroll and administration function

Coordinate and perform monthly payroll run processes and address all escalated orunresolved queries

Keep abreast of all related statutory and legal requirements toensure that systems processes and procedures can be updated or changed and successfullyimplemented

Keep the team informed and ensure that payroll processes are performedin accordance with any agreed processes

Coordinate the monthly required payrollactivities and ensure that all employees are provided with timeous, accurate, salary paymentscompliant with all statutory and applicable legislative requirements

Implementannual and off-cycle payroll processes

Special payrollruns



Coordinate all transactions reconciliations and ensure payments torelevant third party

Liaise with Finance on all required payment requirements


Governance & RiskManagement

Implement a reputable payroll solutions to minimizepayroll risks.

Acts as process source for internal and external auditors

Implement controls to ensure that all findings raised are addressed and resolved.

Responsible for the Bank’s payroll compliance and governance as per legislation.

Act as a point of contact for any payroll compliance and governance queries.


 
Data RecordsManagement

Implements an effective HC filing and record keepingsystem for all HC related information and employee data in accordance with the Bank’spolicies, procedures and legal requirements

Ensures that all data and informationcaptured on the system is complete and correct

Ensures that all employee movementsare recorded and archived in accordance to agreed processes and procedures (e.g. new appointments,leave records, resignations, exits, retirements)

Develop and implement thenecessary controls to check accuracy and confidentiality of employee records and archives and HCinformation is maintained at all times

Perform any required spot checks to monitorthe efficacy of controls

Address any system or people errors or concerns that castdoubts over integrity of employee data

Ensure that changes to employee data andinformation are captured and recorded at all times

Enhance administrationprocesses and systems

Responsible to evaluate the system, processes and proceduresand identify opportunities for improvement and ensure optimal client service delivery

Monitor HC administration output and identify continuous improvement measures

Build and maintain effective stakeholder relations with HC and across the business

Engage with business owners and HC to understand and test requirements

Liaisewith IT on system configurations and upgrades and business requirements

Coordinatethe organizational leave system and processes

Maintain integrity of payroll andadministration data

Manage filing within payroll and administration function


Functional TeamLeadership

Guide the HC payroll and administration team

Responsible for the daily operational activities of the team and manage the workload andperformance

Conduct performance review sessions with the GM: Operations and Adminin accordance to policies and procedures

Track and monitor team performance inaccordance with policies and procedures

Continuously provide feedback and coachingto ensure that the team members perform at optimum productivity level

Work closelywith the other members of the HR team and other business units to deliver outstanding performanceand ensure that team and business objectives and targets are achieved


Preferred MinimumEducation and Experience

Human Resources related degree orrelevant degree

Relevant post-graduate qualification

SAP PayrollCertificate

3 – 5 years Payroll and HC administration

3years Payroll Managerial experience
